Jenny, Neville, Trevor, Helen and I walked from the Lakeside camping ground along the edge of Lake Eildon to Bolte Bay and up the creek to a nice spot for lunch on Sunday, August 14.
On the way we saw four different orchids and some fungi.
After lunch we had a steep climb to Estate Spur when it started to rain.
We had been lucky that the rain did not start until after lunch.
Going up and down along the spur there was a pretty double rainbow that we all admired as well as the views of the lake.
Then steeply down to the vehicles on a slippery track, made more slippery by the rain.
After a cup of tea we went home having enjoyed a winter’s day walk.
