VET Hairdressing Graduate, Taitum Maiwald talks to Year 9 students, Khesanh Saunders and Kailey Crothers

Benalla P-12 College students who are starting their two-year VET Hairdressing course next year attended a special information session last week.

Trainer Helen Roscoe, together with other Benalla P-12 College staff, welcomed students and their families to the Hairdressing Salon to learn more about the course, skill development and career pathways.

Students were also informed about the high expectations of punctuality, personal presentation and work ethic found in the workplace, which are also essential rules in the school’s professional hairdressing salon.

Families were then treated to an afternoon tea prepared by the students.

If any student or parent/carer was unable to attend this session and would like to know more about VET Hairdressing, phone the school on 57612777.

There are limited number of places left for this course in 2017.
