Kids get peep at new space

April 07, 2017

Families attending Tomorrow Today’s PEEP (Parents Early Education Partnership) program recently enjoyed a visit to the new playground at the Benalla Botanical Gardens.

The visit was a great chance for families to check out the fantastic new space designed for children to use for exploration and creative play.

While it is different to a traditional playground, the families soon found the many benefits of this new, engaging environment.

The children enjoyed paddling and floating leaf boats in the water courses, exploring the rock caves, digging in the huge sandpit, testing their balancing skills on the many rocks and hilly terrain and climbing on the rope jungle gym, as well as enjoying the more traditional playground swings and slides.

Everyone seemed to enjoy Park Week very much and many families have already been back for more.
